Adorn Your Home with the Rich Tones of Gorgeous Fall Flowers

When we think of fall colors our mind typically goes to yellow, orange, red, and brown hues. As the leaves change into these beautiful colors and the fall foliage creates a stunning landscape, our home decor and fashion trends reflect the change of season, too. While they are often influenced by the natural tones of Mother Nature, every year we see new color trends to help brighten up the tone of fall. This year, Pantone is predicting unique color trends for the 2021 fall and winter, and here at Peoples Flowers, we are pairing these hues with our favorite flowers.

Pantone’s Fall Color Trends & Your Favorite Fall Flowers

Green Hues

Hunter green has been a popular shade for the fall, but this year Pantone is talking about a bold green “leprechaun” hue and an “olive branch” hue. These tones are sure to set an uplifting and fresh mood, not to mention lucky. A few of our popular green flowers include green orchids and green hydrangea. You can also find stunning green succulents and of course, the natural greenery used to create a nice, full, and lush flower arrangement.

Blue Hues

Bright, light, and deep blues are definitely in this fall. Pantone’s Mykonos Blue, Rhodonite, and Spring Lake hit all our favorite shades of this relaxing and calming color. Finding blue flowers is easy with a variety of blue stems and blooms such as delphinium, hydrangea, hyacinth, bell flower, cornflower, iris, orchid, and forget-me-not.

Yellow Hues

We usually see a lot of yellow this time of year both in nature and in interior design and decor. With Pantone’s “illuminating yellow” being named one of the top 2021 colors of the year, it comes as no surprise to find this uplifting, happy, h3, and hopeful hue in their neup of trendy fall colors. Fall flower arrangements often consist of yellow roses, sunflowers, yellow mums, yellow daisies, gladiolus, and fun craspedia billy balls.

Pink Hues

Transitioning from summer into fall, most people put away their vibrant and feminine pinks. However, this year Pantone says that the fuchsia can stay as well as your favorite springtime pastel pink. Their “fuchsia fedora” and “pale rosette” are here to add flirty and graceful elements into the fall season. That means your favorite peonies, pink roses, pink alstroemeria, carnation, lilies, gerbera daisies, pink calla lilies, and gladiolus are here to stick around a little longer.

Red Hues

Whether it’s a bright fierce or a dark warm red, it is a fall favorite every year, and 2021 is no exception. Pantone’s “fire whirl” made their list this year for trendy 2021 fall hues. To support this autumn favorite and fill your home with seasonal blooms and hues, we suggest a bouquet of red roses, carnations, and/or mums.

White Hues

“No white after Labor Day” is certainly a rule of the past, and Pantone sees it as history, too. With their “coconut cream” and “soybean” off-white tones being incorporated into autumn fashion and home decor, white is not only welcome but encouraged. White hydrangea, white roses, white daisies, white carnations, white orchids, white calla lilies, white lilies, and white anemone are pure and elegant choices to bring home this fall.

Brown Hues

Pantone’s “adobe” and “root beer” are sure to be found all around this autumn season. Although you may not find brown blooms, these hues sure do make for the perfect accent colors in bouquets. The dark brown insides of sunflowers and certain types of daisies, as well as decorative sticks always stand out among the colorful petals in flower arrangements.

Fall flower arrangements are just as breathtaking, fresh, and fabulous as spring and summer flower arrangements. They provide natural and living decor for your home to truly liven up and freshen up your home.
