International Women’s Day is March 8th

friendshipp3This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is “Inspiring Change.” It is meant to recognize and educate others about the need for women’s equality, which has made great strides but still has a long way to go. This theme calls for challenging the status quo around the world and bringing change that provides more women with more opportunities and equal standing.

As such, International Women’s Day was created to celebrate all achievements made by women in the social, economic, and political environments. It is a great way to also call attention to those areas that require more action.peoples2 - Copy
