Have you been randomly-assigned a gift recipient at work this year? Are you supposed to keep your identity a secret for the weeks leading up to the office party, when gifts will be distributed and the cloak of anonymity removed? Sounds like you’re participating in Secret Santa.
This group gift swap is popular in the West, where it goes by many names: Secretos Amigos in Latin America, Julklapp in Scandinavia (where we got the idea from, incidentally). Whatever you call it, the premise is always the same: givers offer their recipients gifts, anonymously. It’s that last part that makes the gift exchange so fun, but also a challenge. Peoples Flowers can help.
Because you may not know the preferences and tastes of your randomly-assigned recipient, it’s hard to not go the typical route when picking out their gift (a bottle of something, a funny mug, a gift card). That’s why we feel it’s best to go with a crowd-pleasing present, something that no one in their right mind would turn down. For us, that something is our Fruit and Cheese Basket.
This is more than one Secret Santa gift – it’s a handful of them. Each item is another surprise, and the entire basket is essentially a picnic waiting to happen. Put it on your giftee’s desk or under the office Christmas tree; either way, there’s no wrapping required.
Let us help you leave your Secret Santa target a fresh, delectable gift. There’s room for flowers in that fruit and cheese basket, too.
