November is a special month in Albuquerque full of fun and festive events for the whole family. We are an avid supporter of local community events and Albuquerque organizations that put these events because they are a great way to bring our community together.
Here are a few of the great events this month in Albuquerque:
Native American Heritage Month
The entire month of November as well as December are dedicated to celebrating the heritage, culture, and life of Native Americans. This includes the Native American Dancing and Pueblo Feast Days. These include dances, cultural exhibitions, and delicious food. It is a respectful time to celebrate culture and heritage.
The holidays are a wonderful time to visit the neighboring pueblos since many of them hold feast day celebrations over the course of the two months. It is a great way to better understand the culture and beliefs of Native Americans, a major part of our Albuquerque.
