Here at Peoples Flowers, we would never miss the chance to say thank you to our administrative professionals, whose official day falls this year on April 25. And we’ve got just the way to kick things off, with a little initiative we’re calling “Desktop Awareness.” After a long winter, we’re certain that most work spaces could use a little perking up, if not a downright overhaul. We’re shining a light on the sorry states of our desks and demanding more. We’re demonstrating how flowers and plants can make a huge difference in our work lives, and we’re doing it on behalf of the admins.
When you clear off a space, one of the best ways to make it feel officially clean is to add a little green, and we love nothing more than succulents for that. A small garden of one or two doesn’t take up a lot of real estate on your desktop, but the impact is big. These do well without a lot of light and only need a little water too, making them the perfect office companion.
Some of our front areas where admins can often be found are a little clinical-feeling. They often act as spaces where files and folders are corralled or general office supplies live. The cure? A bright mix of flowers with lilies and Gerbera.
These flowers make a wonderful admin gift and also brighten up the desktop area. Anyone who encounters them will be happier for it, and that’s definitely the goal this April 25.
